How much does it cost to start a Rent the Roo franchise?

There is an initial Franchise fee of $75,000. You will also need to have access to approximately $120,000 working capital in the first 12 months.

How much is the royalty?

Rent the Roo charges a royalty of 10% of your rental receipts collected which is paid monthly.

How much is the advertising royalty?

There is no advertising royalty charged. The franchisor contributes to the fund exclusively to the benefit of the franchise network. You will however be required and supported to implement your own local area marketing initiatives to grow your customer base.

How long is the franchise term?

The franchise agreement is in place for a period of 5 years with an option to renew for a further period of 5 years.

How long is the training?

The initial training program involves one week at our Head Office in Hobart. During this time you will receive instruction on business administration and in-field experience. When you start in your own territory, we will have one of our Management team working with you side by side to meet customers and arrange supplier meetings.

Do I have to be licenced?

Yes. You will have to be licenced.
